Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce from husband Thomas Jane on the grounds of irreconcilable differences, according to court papers filed in Los Angeles Monday.

Arquette, 40, is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their daughter Harlow, 5, with visitation for Jane, 39.

Arquette and Jane became engaged in 2002 and married on June 25, 2006 at the Palazzo Contarini in Venice, Italy. The exact date of separation is "to be determined," according to the Superior Court papers. The pair had met through friends around 2001.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has split from fiancé Ross McCall, it has emerged.

Ghost Whisperer star Hewitt, 29, and Scottish actor McCall, 32, got engaged in November 2007 after dating for two years.

But the pair are now set to go their separate ways.

A source tells People magazine, "They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement.

"They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them."

Jett Travolta's death was caused by a "seizure disorder," sources close to John Travolta and Kelly Preston have said.

The autopsy on Jett, 16 - who died last Friday - was completed Monday afternoon at the Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas, though no official results - including a cause of death - have been revealed.

Jett was pronounced dead by an emergency room doctor at 12:14 pm on Jan. 2.

Victoria Beckham's plans to conquer Italy will have to be put on hold - she won't be joining her soccer star husband when he launches his Italian football career at AC Milan.

Beckham - who has joined AC Milan on a two-month loan deal from American club LA Galaxy - has confirmed the former Spice Girl and their three sons will remain in Los Angeles while he plays the beautiful game away from home.

Oprah Winfrey has reached out to John Travolta and Kelly Preston following the tragic death of their beloved son Jett in the Bahamas.

The Travolta's attorney, Mike Ossi, said: "Everybody has reached out. It seems like the world has reached out and feels the pain that John and Kelly are going through. Thousands and thousands of phone calls have been received. Oprah has called. You name it, they've called."

Ossi - who is in the Bahamas with Preston and Travolta - also revealed Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise have reached out to the grieving stars.

Taylor Swift is treating her mom to an extra special birthday gift - a performance on Saturday Night Live.

The country star, 19, announced on her MySpace blog Monday that she'll sing on the NBC show on Jan. 10.

"I just found out that I get to play on Saturday Night Live!!" she wrote. "January 10th! It's my mom's birthday, and I don't think either of us would've believed you if you would've told us a few years ago that we'd get to spend her birthday in New York City--- at Saturday Night Live! Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette are planning to adopt a baby in a bid to keep their marriage alive, it has been claimed.

According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the couple - who are parents to daughter Coco, 4 - plan to start adoption proceedings soon after Cox's multiple attempts at getting pregnant again failed.

A source says, "David wants a sibling for Coco, but Courteney's reached a point where she feels it's hopeless to keep trying to get pregnant.
