Julianne Moore: 'I Hated Being Blonde For Movie Role'

Julianne Moore hated being blonde.

The red-headed actress was forced to dye her fiery locks blonde for new movie Blindness - and she hated every minute of it.

She says, "It was a nightmare. I always used wigs in the past but for this role I didn't feel I could get away with a wig.

"My red hair would have been too bright underneath so I had to dye it. I hated it. It was a real pain."
